I'm a software engineer with a background in fintech. For years I used Mint and later Monarch to track expenses — but the Plaid connections were unreliable, imports were delayed, and I never felt like I fully understood where our money was going.

My wife and I switched to tracking manually using receipts. It gave us better clarity, but logging each receipt into Google Sheets by hand was tedious. That became the new problem.

So I built ReceiptToSheet: take a photo of a receipt on your phone, and the row lands in your Google Sheet automatically. No app to log into, no export step — just your existing spreadsheet, kept up to date.
